My Fridge/freezer is pooling water on the floor of the fridge (the fridge section is on top) The drain at the back of the fridge is not blocked but still water is appearing and our food is geting ruined all the time.

Can i stop it or is it time to go and buy another one? Please help me id you applience savvy or ask your dp/dh's!

Hmmm , mine did this and is was the drain (the hole at the back just above the salad drawer) Have you checked it thoughly.. I ended up switching it off and wiggling a wire coathanger .. a lump of slimy gunk splurged out even though it looked clear from the outside, twas fine after that.

Also have you checked you haven't shifted the temperature dial (my ds randomly turns ours up or down)

mine was the drain too and although it didn't look blocked when I poked around it magically cleared and hasn't happened again.

This thread is so funny to me - had water pooling in the bottom of my fridge, and read this thread and told Dh to try sticking something down the pipe at the back to clear it etc....he ranted back "FGS MN DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING I'M NOT LISTENING TO A BUNCH OF HAIRY ARSED TRUCKERS, I'M PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF CONDUCTING TASKS WITHOUT CONSULTING MN UNLIKE YOU, THERE IS NO PIPE AT THE BACK OF THE FRIDGE....." etc...

5 minutes later he was putting a stick thing down the pipe at the back of the fridge and it has magically solved the problem.

Men.
