how do you get the musty old person smell out of second hand furniture?

Have recently bought a very kitsch 2nd hand dresser for DS room, cheap and almost cheerful! But the drawers stink of that old person 2nd hand shop smell, any tips on getting rid of it?

wash down with some anti-bacterial disinfectant multi purpose cleaner asda do own brand i find dettols goes bit further its lovely apple smell! you could use a spray bottle an spray it in the drawers, or fbreeze the inside good luck

Mix a solution of Bicarbonate of soda and water and wash down with that.
I had similar problem, we bought our house fronm very old lady at a brill price and when moved in it had that musty smell. I tried a few things bit that was def the thing which got rid of the smell. House now smells of babysick.
