Good morning Jelley, I've not long got up. Washing machine is on and 3 out of 4 kids are breakfasted and dressed, just the little one to get sorted. Just myself to get dressed after that. Will be back with my list after the school run, though do already know ironing is high on the list today.

Morning aufish and jelley.

Am feeling annoyed at the rain which is ridiculous because it has been so long since it was like this. I am just going to have to run through it.

tort I really understand. I love my kids and have fought long and very very hard through the courts for residency. It is not over yet. but there are times when they drive me to distraction with their fighting and bickering. I only have three and they are older but sometimes it is relentless.

It is only recently that I started insisting on time for me and things for me to do which is why I am fanatical about my running and exercise. I sometimes want some adult company but I always hang on to the fact that life is 100% better without my x and we are so much happier.

Your boys are settling in to a new way of life and are bound to go through a period of adjustment just hold on and things will get better.

Morning all.

Not much done here but sink is still shiny. And I did a couple of 2 min hotspots yesterday

Jelley - have you tried metanium? Always worked to clear DDs nappy rash.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all !
Wise words glitter

I've just found out Barry Scott (of shouty Cilit Bang) is not real I'm most peturbed.. does that mean he's computer generated ?

Did anyone see that obedient wife program on channel 5 last night ?

Eughh

talk about creepy

Anyhoo, got to get dc's up- and out, getting my hair done this morning, and off out this afternoon so not much of a list today

Back later

Barry Scott is an actor

glassslipper - Metanium seems to make his skin extremely dry, and peel off He has ahd two lots of antibiotcs for this already, but it keeps coming back. It isn't like normal nappy rash, but I don't know what else to call it.

yaddahyah - I made the mistake of watching the twin thing on the other side. Very depressing.

Thanks glassslipper and bewilderbeast...This is the third time he has had exactly the same problem. He gets a few small spots at one nappy change, and by the next one, each spot looks like an ulcer The rest of his skin is totally unaffected. 3 different gps and 2 hvs have seen and don't really have a clue. Antibiotics cleared it up the first time after various other things failed. Cream the second, but it took alot longer. I've been using the creams since Thursday with no improvement at all.

Will try and get him an appointment this morning, and report back.

I've got hv coming tomorrow, too

Morning
Jelley hope dr can offer help for ds - my ds used to get exzema in his nappy area, not nice at all.
Aufish good luck with the ironing
Glitter I've chickened out and missed my cycle ride today due to the rain - have to say though that I already feel as though something is missing and may try to fit it in later instead...
Glassslipper Well done on the shiney sink, I gave mine a clean while I was cleaning up the kitchen this morning, it really does make a difference doesn't it?
yadda that obedient wife prog was spooky! I missed the start so didn't find out what led the women to become that way...Dh and I have a fairly traditional relationship (in so far as he goes to work and I stay at home to watch the kids and look after the house) but there's no way either of us would ever take it that far!
bewilder hello

House is a tip so I have to catch up with jobs a bit today. Ds is at pre-school till 1 and dd doesn't need collecting from school till 4 so I shouldbe able to get on with it!
~put away ironing (ironed last Thurs, still in piles in bedroom)

Run in the rain
Clean and tidy dining room and kitchen
Cant do mission as carpet in there but do yesterdays mission
Sort washing and drying
Put away washing
Goal setting for month

glitterfairy · 08/05/2007 09:13

shouldbe just cross posted I think. It should get better around lunch time in the North. AM going to do the cello thing first and look awful with no make up and in my running leggings but would rather look awful than run in wind, rain and freezing. If it hasnt cleared up when I get back then out I go rain or no rain!

EH??? I think Kelly is wishing the week away!
Friday's mission is there instead of today's. I thought 2 days in the kitchen was a bit odd

Jelley Hope ds's rash clears up....there isn't anyway it could be thrush??? My ds had thrush, the spots you describe sound similar. I kept putting normal nappy rash cream on but it didn't clear up. The doctor said it looked like thrush, and a couple of applications of Canesten did the trick. (is the end of his willy red and sore looking)

tort hope you are feeling better this morning.

Hi to Everyone else

Glitter I have great admiration for you and your running I've been trying my best to get out on my bike on the 4 days a week I easily have the time but find it's still very easy to not go if I can find an excuse - did you start out very unfit? (cos I am) how long did it take before you found it all became easier? - not just physically but easier to keep as part of your routine? I'm not seeing any real results weight/shape-wise so am finding sometimes it's hard to get motivated. I do feel an improvement in my mood though so that helps
My excuse today was that I always cycle with the kids to school and so felt it was unfair to expect ds to sit on the back of my bike in the rain for the 20/30mins we'd have been cycling. I am going to try to get a ride in before I collect him from pre-school or once dh is home this eve instead.

Can anyone join the daily fly or can you only qualify if your youngest is under seven yrs ?? I have DD 11 & DS 7. Sometimes I really feel I need that push/kick to get motivated and it helps to see that i'm not alone.

DS update - saw a different Dr who has given me canestan. Thanks everyone who suggested thrush. I hope it clears up quickly now.

Olivebranch There are no requirements to join this thread, just the need to get motivated. Welcome on board

ludaloo - I didn't notice she'd mised the middle of the week on the missions! Odd.

I need to get cleaning while ds is asleep now.
