Microwave jugs

I sometimes heat up soup or milk in the m/wave; or make custard or porridge. I don't like glass or plastic jugs in there, as I fear one day they will shatter. I mostly use plastic jugs or containers like tupperware, but they get burned round the top. What's a microwave-safe jug I can get?

Pyrex It honestly won't shatter and it's not going to release nasty organic chemical into fatty foods like plastic will.

We use Pyrex too. Easy, no flavours transfer, and it doesn't shatter. Wouldn't recommend a plastic one.

I make porridge in the bowl I'm going to eat it from and use Pyrex jugs or bowls for other things.

Pyrex measuring jug. £1.65 in Wilko at the moment. Bargain!
