Would you use gumtree for cleaner

I'm a self employed cleaner, had a 3 year break but now going back to it.

In the past my work came from word of mouth, or my friend who also cleans as she recommends me for ironing ( something she doesn't do)

I have a couple of small jobs lined up but need more, wondering if it's worth me advertising on gumtree which will cost!

If you were looking for a cleaner, ironing service in house/take away would you use gumtree to find someone?

I would ask friends / neighbours or look on local Facebook groups. If you can get a past client to recommend you , maybe in the comments to your advert post, that would make me hire you. We sometimes get leaflets through door, some fancy and handwritten, I would probably use those if nobody I knew had a good recommendation. Doesn't need to be fancy.
