Bosch Fridge - Weak at the Drawers

Just saying goodbye to our old Bosch fridge. It has never gone wrong (it still works today) and must be getting on for 18 years old but I have one complaint about it - the plastic. The plastic parts have proved woefully weak. For example, we are on our second plastic bottom shelf (the one over the crisper) and second crisper. I gave up replacing parts as too many failed, as did their replacements. Just wondered if anyone else had the same experience?
