we need a cleaner

Would you go with some of the big chains or someone self employed?

I'm going back to work full time and the house is a disaster - have some time off in between and Dh and I are decorating, Marie kondoing etc so it will be easier managed.

Thinking of trialling eg Molly Maid for a deep clean then someone coming a couple of hours a week from then on.

Any suggestions? Have you had better experience with chain or not?

My maid is from Home Maid Clean..3 hours cleaning every other week and the house is back in shape.
In between the maid have the kids vacuum the rooms but that is it. Evenings I'd rather spend some time with the kids than clean..no energy for deep cleaning at all...
