Cleaning Vax handheld Gator pet turbohead

I recently bought a handheld Vax Gator pet vacuum cleaner which comes with a 'turbohead' attachment - essentially a small rotating bristle brush within an attachment.

However the turbo head quickly gets clogged with hair (its designed for picking up pet hair

Does anyone know how to clean it?
