Is there anything that will get rid of the bloom on a glass shower door?

We've managed to stave it off by drying the shower after use but a few years on and it's definitely there. Is it like scale? Can anything easily remove it?

Viakal or any limescale remover works on mine, and mine is 7 years old now

I've never found the limescale removers get it all off maybe because I let it get too bad so I resorted to scraping it off with a razor blade.

I squeegee after every shower now.
