Bought some cheap microfiber cloths in Matalan yesterday and have just used them to clean the bathroom. OMG they are amazing. The shower screens are sparkling and so are the taps and even the sink looks shinier than normal!

I'd read lots on here singing the praises of these cloths but was sceptical but no more!!!

Mighty microfiber cloth- I bow down to your superior cleaning power!

It was much quicker than my normal cleaning method too.

Definitely converted!

They are good, aren't they?

Wish Dh would stop giving them to the kids to use as napkins.

Ooh they sound fab.

Can you wash and reuse them?

Are they expensive?

Yes wash and reuse them. I got 4 for £2. They are great. Lakeland's ecloths are supposed to be the best so might try them.

I have loads and use them for everything. I bung them in the wash after each use so I always have a pile of clean ones with my cleaning stuff. I probably use 5-10 a day! but they are so easy to wash and dry so quickly.

I can't stand to touch them, the feel of them just makes me cringe & squirm.

Do you use them only with water?

I LOVE them! I get a huge pack from Costco (about £14 for 40 IIRC). I do exact same as 4littleones, some days can hit using 20 odd cloths, but as just save them all up, and put them on a boil wash with the teatowels, dry them and then use them all again within a few hours

Happy cleaning :)

Can someone please explain how they work? How can using just water be cleaning anything?

yourebeing I do most of the time use chemicals with mine.

However, sometimes, you can just use them wet with no chemical. E.g damp dusting, wiping coffee spill/drip off kitchen side, or (like I have) internal glass doors, on occasion there will be a fingerprint or a smear on them and I will give them a quick wipe with just a wet cloth (obviously I do thorough cleans with glass spray) but to quickly get something off a wet microfiber will do (you're not eating of a glass door etc).

I know of people who say they can be used without chemical for most things, however, the majority of the time use chemical with them, they're just such a better type of cloth than those woven dish cloths that leave everything wet through and would leave drips and smears all over glass.

HTH :)

Thank you e1y1 that does help Grin i see what you mean now. I have them for cleaning the bathroom but always use bathroom cleaner spray. I dont use them for anything else as have a gazillion dusters and cloths and rags.

And yes they catch all the tiny bits of dry skin you didnt realise you had on your fingers. It's not pleasant.

I get mine from Poundland. They sell them 4 for a pound. Bargain. I have around 3-4 packs at home.

The most amazing ones I have found is the blue cloth which has a kind of amine in it which picks up the grease from my hobs. I have never seen anything which can pick up this kind of grease at such a macro level. It is so clean. That is without any detergents as well.

I try to wash them often to keep the hooks pretty clean. They are amazing to pick up dirt. I have used them on my laminate floorings too, and they are so much better than the laminate wipes that I used before. The floor now feels very clean to my feet. Amazing. Smile

I've seen different ones sold in different dept stores or shops, but I've just stuck with the cheap ones.

It's also worth checking out the car section too of any stores, because the larger cloths are normally available from there.

Yep, I do have a bit of a thing for them Blush. The ones in Costco are Car ones, so they are nice and big.

Also, I used to have the catchy, dry skin thing with them, however, I dont anymore Confused
