cleaning radiator vanes

lots of plumbing work done yesterday and so have noticed that there is loads of dust and fluff trapped in the vanes between the two halves of the double radiators. Normal vacuum cleaner tools won't reach.

is there an an object that I can use or buy without costing a fortune?

I saw an actual brush for this in a housewares dhop the other day. It was about £15 though. I was trying to figure how I could do mine by fashioning something myself.

all hail little hardware shops. Been into town and have been sold a long brushy object for £3.50 which is apparently just the job used in conjunction with a vacuum. Who knew?

Don't spend money. Blow all the dust through with a hairdryer, then vacuum.

good idea. At least I can console myself that I don't own a hairdryer and buying one would have been more expensive.
