mouldy nets!

I have (tasteful) nets up in the front room as our house is directly in front of pavement. It is an old, stone fronted house and we get damp around the windows where condensation gathers. Just cleaned windows, then soaked nets in warm water and whitening powder stuff. Then put them in a delicate wash in the machine.

They've still got quite a bit of mould on them! Any advice? Or do I just need to chuck them away and buy new?

I would soak them overnight in a bucket with hot water and lots of bleach. Then wash them tomorrow with some washing powder and OXY vanish or OXY White.

Forgot to say, before washing them in washing machine, rinse them thoroughly as bleach and Oxy vanish can react with each other.

Thanks dikkert, I'll try that.
