Lamps!

I need lamps for our living spaces to make them less bright and more cosy. Where to get nice ones please? Don't mind spending a bit but not extortionate

I'm so sad BHS is gone in this situation. Their lighting was second to none on the high st.

Thank you, I liked BNS lighting too. I have ordered a copper one from Amazon but am after more so thank you for the recommendations, I'll go and hunt now.
I did find what I thought was a nice one on nest.co.uk a mere £831!!!!!

I was in dunelm recently and they do have some nice lamps. Also, if you have 'the range' by you, they have some very affordable lamps. They had a fab giant angle poise standing floor lamp that was, I think, £60, loads of table lamps too. You could buy a cheaper lamp and then splash out in a few more expensive lampshades?

Adding Ikea and Homebase

Homebase are getting rid of a lot of their home furnishings so quite a lot of lamps on sale instore.

I have the Mayer floor lamp from Homebase which has a large light and a spotlight, both with dimmers.

Apparently Debenhams have bought BHS lighting.

Laura Ashley and Pooky are good too.

I think I read that the person who was in charge of the BHS lighting has been snapped up by Debenhams, so might be worth checking them out in the future. The lighting department had a better reputation than the rest of the shop I think.

Habitat have nice lighting too.
