Bedside tables

Does anyone have a completely clear bedside table, like you see in magazines and on tv. Mine has everything on it bar the kitchen sink. Lamp, creams, tissues, nail files, clock, photos,water, earnings, and more cream. It looks a mess, but it,s all stuff I use. What do other people do with all their stuff

My DH's has a lamp and a book. Mine has a teetering mound of books, magazines and newspapers. Lamp, radio, breast pads, three muslins, glass, paracetamol...

I have a little antique cupboard with a drawer and doors as my bedside table. I try and keep stuff inside it... still got books, clock, bottle of water and tissues on top, plus currently an empty mug and some hair straighteners.
