Box room dilemmas - single bed

Hi - I'm planning on giving my DD's bedroom a makeover for her 13th birthday. The width of the room is 195cm (skirting board to skirting board). My question is will I be able to fit a 190cm bed in - I mean physically get the bed in place?
Thanks!

Yes you will be able too but you may have to empty the room and tilt the bed at a funny angle to get it roughly orientated then lower it into place.

Dd's room is compact in a similar way and we had a custom frame built and fixed to the walls to maximise space under the bed.

Thanks FlouncingIntoAutumn. I'm also considering a custom frame

What a cool prezzie :)

I expect it to be mostly fine but if the base it think and one piece it might not work. So wither a thin base with legs you can attach in situ or a divan base in two pieces. To make it look nice, you can have a headboard attached to the wall.

Here's a couple examples of those wall mounted headboards.
