I have this lovely box of 100 postcards of patterned textiles www.amazon.co.uk/Pattern-Box-Postcards-Contemporary-Designers/dp/1616891882.
I would love to use the postcards in some kind of artistic display but I can't work out what to do and am worried about it looking really naff.
Can anyone help with any ideas? I don't mind cutting the postcards possibly into circles. Would a display of patterned circles look odd?

They're so cool!! Personally I'd do a big mosaic type board of them, almost the wall size, but leaving enough of a gap all the way round. Leave the other walls neutral and just revel in the zany-ness of them smile

Are you wanting to frame them or place them directly onto a wall? Or could you try them on furniture, eg - as I did once, line the back of a book case with them.

I've also used them on a wall, first choosing the centre one then moving outwards from there, allowing the colours to link and flow through the cards. The cards I used were straight sided, as the fitted together like a mosaic, but yes, you could use circles, why not?
What about something like these.......

So you could cut them to overlap, or create a collage with them.

I don't have a big enough wall to do a collage of all of them. My house is very neutral and boring so this would certainly make a statement. Just not sure I'm brave enough.

I was thinking of something simple like this but the patterns are all so different that I don't know if it would work. this

Sorry OP - your link won't go through so i can't see what you're referring to.

It's your home, so you can decorate it however you wish.

I can't seem to do links from that page. It was this.

Have you got a downstairs loo. I would use them as they are and make a feature wall. It would be interesting to anyone ...visiting!
