Anyone refreshed their kitchen?

I really hate the look of our current kitchen but don't have the budget for a new kitchen. Plus I don't think we will be living here long enough to see the benefit.

I've priced up a new countertop, cupboard paint, new handles, new vinyl floor etc and it has come into an affordable range.

How easy is it do and how practical is it? I don't mind the DIY aspect but I'm very perfectionist on my projects.

Would replacement doors fit your budget? If you factor in the time taken to prep and paint might that be a better solution?
