We have a smallish dining room that faces East. So gorgeous and sunny in the morning, but pretty dark and gloomy the rest of the day. Currently painted safe (but in my view deeply dull) cream. Was wondering about Elephant's Breath which I've seen elsewhere and looked gorgeous (sometime looking greyish, other times warmer lilac feel), but worried it could be quite dark in there. Also tempted by a rather elegant sky blue, but DH says will be 'cold'. Hmm. Would welcome any ideas! TIA

I have James White in my east-facing dining room - it is a quite cold colour but the light brings out the green strongly and it gives this great sutble colour IMO.

Thank you - will get a taster pot and give it a go. Just fed up with the neutral zero colour look.

Yes - I like the fact that while it acts like a neutral, you get a definite colour from it, if that makes sense. And it doesn't turn bloody pink/yellow like so many "warm" colours seem to.

Totally makes sense. Will definitely try it.
