I'm at the start of an OU Openings course and finding it harder than expected to fit it in between work and the kids. Although I am doing some reading and it makes sense, I still need to do the activities.

The dc's went to bed at 8:15. I have been fannying about on here since then.

I must do just an hours work before bed.

I'll come back in an hour after some reading / writing.

try half an hour first
once you start you'll probably enjoy it (easy for me to say)

[smug] handed in whole term's work yesterday and procrastinated for about 10 weeks!

One hour done Smile. I do enjoy it once I've got going, but I need quiet time after dealing with the kids before I can focus on it.

Speaking to my tutor on Friday so I want to have something to show for the last 2 weeks!

I've made notes and everything.

I've done my hour for this evening

Unfortunately it was the first time I'd opened a book in 10 days so have some catching up to do.

What courses is everyone doing? Dd307 here

Aiming for another hour tonight. The activity says it'll take about an hour but it looks pretty straightforward so certainly shouldn't take any longer.

I'm doing Understanding Society Y177, it's a beginners course. In the long term I fancy doing the Politics, philosophy and economics degree Confused.

Oh god I haven't done mine for ages. Had an assignment in by the 7th and after I got that done I sort of stopped Confused

I find switching the laptop off and going and reading it in bed is quite effective.

M248 here, 3rd module, love the OU Smile

bytheway LOL at doing ironing. I've discovered that an OU course is a very effective way of doing more housework Grin.

Just did my hour and managed to paint nails while reading. Used a quick dry top coat so I could crack on with the typing afterwards.

I want to get up to day by Thursday so I can re-read it on Friday before I speak to my tutor.
