Anyone here a school midday supervisor ??

I have a meeting about this job in Monday, however, I get the feeling the HT doesn't want me to have the role as I have a son at the school.
Other parents do this role and have children who attend so there is obv precident
Any tips?
Things I should/shouldn't say?
