Crikey 3 job offers....what do i do???

My dp left his job a few weeks ago after months of not being paid correctl;y and being harrased to leave by his Directors.

Life has been unbearable..weeks without heating,k really behind on all bills, rent etc.

We signed onn to benefits last week to be told that we will get nothing as i earn too much at the mo in the xmas temp job i have at argos (around £80) per week.

For the last week i've been sending my CV to agencies and have had numerous replies!

Today i got three job offers! ONE STARTING MONDAY !!

I'm usure what to do as i am getting a call back tomorrow about the other two. One of which is £6.50 an hour six months mat leave maybe permanent after that.

Another is £6.50 an hour..a little further away....but rather large manufacturing company..with view to be permanent after 3 months.

And the one i have just had a call about staring Monday is £5.75 per hour...with potential in a couple of months for promotion to Transport Admin Manager..and as the agency was told is an EXTREMELY well paid position!

I am chuffed to bits..but unsure which one i should opt for! Suppose if i knew how much and when the permanent positons would be enforced i could make my decison....

What would you do!

Well done you Shiraz!
If it was me, I'd go with one reasonably close to home/ with a short travelling time plus the one that interested me the most/best working environment
What are you going to do?

I know..feeling rather chuffed!

I know i have great experience as have worked in a few industires for rather large firms (even if i am only 23).

Dp is really down as his work is rather specialist and he is having trouble finding anything at the moment.

Stupid thing is money has been so tight since August that we have no money to phone anyone...(bt put us on a stupidpay and call credit line thing...to pay off our debt which we did..and now we cannot get off it until feb...) and we cannot top it up as no where around here accepts the payment card.

I've just enough petrol to get me to argos tomorrow...so even if i could pop out i coldnt get into work tomorrow to collect my wages, do my shift and tell them i need to leave (as they have reduced my hours to 4 ...and the pay is pants)

first of all huge congrats! I think you should go for the one with the best long term potential - maybe the one with poss promotion? However it is totally up to you - you could call each company and ask a few more questions to help you decide.

Go for the 6 months mat leave one, close, could end up permanent, and your circumstances are very lilkey to change in 6 months, ie hubby gets a job.

Well done you!!!!!!!

I'm not sure..two of them are close...one that is the 6 months mat leave...sales/admin supervisor for warehouse (6.50 for 6 months with view to perm position)

The other one starting monday is 5.75..with a view to earning a 'great salary' as Transoprt Admin manager for a logistics company..ooh what to do what to do...

transport admin management - if that's working for a haulage company, it can be very very busy. my dad used to do it. depends what you are looking for i think. good for you on getting all three though! also, why can't the people who are advertising the possible promotion to transport admin manager tell you how much that job pays? hate all that cloak and dagger stuff.....

Exactly lala!!

I'm not bothered about the 'busy' side of it! i've had that in most jobs i've had so far!

Need to get in touch with the one about the logistics/haulage as soon as poss this morning to make my decison!

Thanks guys xxx

look at it this way - you are obviously really employable. And you'll be even more so in a few months time... So, take the one that solves your obviously difficult circumstances now and if it's not developing as you hoped, look again at that point.
