I have just seen ds who is watching Little Bear covered head to foot in Baby Oil. It is all over the sofa and cushions and in his hair. He says he also drank it. He is 2.7 yo so may be kidding. He seems fine. Apart from bathing him should I be concerned? TIA

If he seems ok then i wouldnt worry.Sounds like more went on the sofa than in his mouth.

Yes! You should! But only because tomorrow his poo will shoot out at top speed.

I wouldn't have thought he would have drank anymore than a mouthful (that's if he has at all) as the taste would be pretty rank. Does the bottle have a health warning about swallowing it? If not then I would imagine it shouldn't give him any nasty side effects except for v slippery poo tomorrow.

nah shouldn't worry. Between them mine have eaten seudocrem, baby lotion, baby oil, shampoo, conditioner, soap, washing up liquid, poster paints, candles, dirt, probably a few bugs, all manner of paper, card, pens, felt tips....... pretty much anything they could get their hands on. Still here, still healthy

Wonder what that says about my cooking!

Yes, I thought it may affect his bowels . The sofa is beyond help. I should know better as when it's quiet there's always trouble happening. He's smelling lovely though.
