Hi all

Just wanted to destress reallly, DH told me this am (5.30) he had a lump on his testies,

My its quite big(the lump that is), I got a bit annoyed with him as he has been aware of it for some time and chose not to tell me.

Anyhow managed to get him an appt today with gp who has reffered him to hospital, we are waiting now forthe appt.

I am so scared for him thinking allsorts as you can imagine, I want to hold him all the time but try to be strong too aint to good at it though as each time i look at him i get all watery eyes.

He is still young(28) so hopefully it is just a cyst or something not so serious as the "C" word. He noticed it before his vasectomy apparently 6 months ago, I hadnt felt it to be honest but still wish he told me sooner

My dad had a lump on his testicle which turned out to be a hydroseal - more info on this if you google - a harmless, but fairly large lump which he had removed recently during day surgery.
HTH but thinking of you.
x

DON'T panic. It is most likely a benign swelling. IF it isn't still don't panic. testicular cancer is the most treatable form of cancer known. Full stop, end of story! If you are going to get cancer this is the one that you want! Survival rates are well over 90%, essentialy everyone who gets it survives.

My dh had it 12 years ago when he was 30. He is without a trace of it 12 years down the line. We concieved both of our children, who are also fine, after his treatment. Everything still works!

It may well be nothing, but if it is, his chances are excellent. Honestly!

My brother found a lump on his testies he was 18 and he said it was just a bit bigger than a pea. He went to the doctors and also was referred.
In the end they found out it was a cyst and treated him for it and hes never had anymore problems.
Try not to worry it could be a number of things and it will get treated. Have my fingers crossed for you all xx
