Sorry... tmi... bulges in vagina - varicose veins?

I was diagnosed with vaginal varicose veins when I was pregnant with my second child - 8 years ago!! I think they did calm down but if I'm honest I've always had a little bulge remaining that didn't bother me. However just lately, I have been feeling very sore down there and it now looks very bulgy indeed! It's only laying down that the uncomfortable feeling subsides. It feels sore and kind of dragging. I've been exercising more and I think all the jumping around could be making it worse.

When I google, it sounds like lots of women get this when pregnant but then it disappears, but mine has definitely got worse and I'm now in my mid 40's.

I was wondering if anyone has had this before and if so what the treatment was? I've suffered with them in my legs too, only one leg was successfully treated, the other still remains so I'm obviously prone to them.

Of course I'll plan a trip to the gp. I'm so fed up and Blush.

Probably a prolapse of some sort. There are lots of threads about it .

Stop jumping for a start. See your GP and ask for a referral to a gynae for an assessment.

Hmmm. Hope it's not a prolapse. From Dr google and reading some threads on it I'm not convinced it is. Plus with my history of varicose veins. But something's not right and have got a dr's appointment for next week.

Will lay off the jumping around! Am feeling most uncomfortable now.
