i feel really worried about ds2 tonight (7)

all week he has been off his food and complaining about his stomach on and off.

today he hasn't said much about it until bedtime when he started to get upset. he says it's not tummy ache but it hurts and he has had a poo but it was only small, also that his bottom is tingling.

so, i'm thinking constipated, worms ????? appendicitis even ( it was on the right side the other day)

but, what has made me worry is that he never really wants to tell me for some reason when something is wrong and about a year ago he kept getting chest pains, i thought they were no longer a problem but tonight he tells me he still gets them at school but doesn't want to tell anyone.

sorry, this all sounds a jumble but i am worried about him now.
what would you think?

No great advice other than will he tell your GP if you take him?

Just wanted to bump it back to top for you

Good Luck

Could he be stressed about going back to school? The chest pains sound like stress, tbh.

Appendicitis is, from what I'm told, agonising. He would scream when you touched his stomach if he had appendicitis, I think?

am i right in thinking worms DON'T cause tummy ache ?

Some people say they do, but I don't think they're a big cause.

Could be constipation - make sure he walks a good amount tomorrow and eats some high fibre food, in case that sorts it?

Worms cause a very very itchy bottom, more than a tingly bottom, ime.

he hasn't had the chest pains this week it's just that he deceided to tell me tonight that he still gets them at school sometimes when he breaths in. tbh we do have trouble with phlegm on his chest and chest infections too

Sorry, no advice, but wanted to bump this for you.

(I am the world worst worrier, so I know how you feel )

I would take him to the GP for his chest at the very least, just to set your mind at rest. While there, discuss the tummy problems if they have not resolved themselves)
