DS2 (16 weeks) and green poo

DS2 has been doing grey/green pastey type poos for weeks now. I asked the HV but she said it could be over feeding/underfeeding or a virus (not exactly helpful)

He was fully bfed until a couple of weeks ago whne i had to go out to work for a few hours (no choice) where DP gave him ebm and some formula. I thought maybe the formula might make a bit of a difference to his poo, but it didn't (I thought it might have been because he wasn't getting v much hindmilk) I iwsh we's not bothered with it now, as he's had it everyday since. It's a slippery slope, isn't it?

I'm not sure what to do next really. He's fine otherwise. He sleeps well (10pm-9am every night. Plus he has a couple of 2 hour naps in the day) When he's awake, he's very alert and smiley etc.

Any idea why this might be?

Hi, I always thought that green poo was to do with dehydration, but I could be wrong.
I hope someone will come along and give you some adivce.

DS had fluorescent green poo from 2 months until he started having solids. he was formula fed from birth. it worried me. HVs and GP gave no clear reason for it. kept being told it was a bug. so he had a bug for 4 months

hi, my 16week DD1 does deep green poos sometimes. my HV said it was normal!
they tend to go from bright yellow through to deep green over the course of 2 weeks... her last bout of green poo was over christmas when she had a cold so it probably was something to do with dehydration...
