Period gone awol

No I am definatly not pregnant, but period has gone walk abouts.

I am on the pill and took the 3 packs back to back, stopping the last pill from the last pack last tuesday, and since then nothing. Usually I come on after 3 days 4 at the most.

Any ideas ? Stress, can't think of anything else.

Nope no weight loss, well not loads anyway, couple of pounds maybe.

I have had back ache and stomach ache but nothing has appeared.

Am due to start taking new packet tommorow, can I still do that ??

Think you can still start taking the packet, I might ring the GP's to check though if you are worried. Wear white trousers, that is bound to make you come on

It might be that the three packs in one go has delayed the start of it.

ROFL at wear white trousers, good point though, I bet it would work too.

I think it must be taking the 3 packs back to back yep. Oh well, can't say I am bothered.

id say it was all those back to back packets... are you allowed to do that?

Well tbh I didn't ask but I know others that do it. Assume it is similar to having the injection, where you don't have a break.

I only took 3 packs back to back though.

In my case I do it as the period pain I get is so bad I can't even walk, stand up, etc and I can't be like that once a month.

o. Im not sure you can do it... Maybe you better find out, even if your period returns. Sorry if im nosey or whatever, but why dont you get the injection then? Or coil? (I hear it makes periods better) I am not very up on all this though, just going by what I think I know xxx

With most brands of the pill you can safely take more than one pack back-to-back without a break. A couple of my friends who have awful period pain and erratic cycles have been advised to do this by their GPs rather than go through hell every month.

Might be worth checking the leaflet inside the pack of pills to see what that says; if not then contact your GP just for reassurance that it's OK to take the particular brand of pill you're on without a break between packs.
