Breast cancer - has anyone notices any other symptoms apart from breast changes?

I am 43. I have a large lump and not diagnosed one way or the other yet. Waiting for my mammogram and ultrasound next Monday. I don't know how long I had the lump for since I don't do a regular check. I wondered if there are any other symptoms of breast cancer apart from breast changes?
Appetite, tiredness, other aches and pains ?
Has anybody experienced these ?
The only thing that my GP asked me was whether or not I had a change in weight.
I have another thread about this subject as well. Thanks for sharing,

My aunt has recently been diagnosed with Bc. As far as I'm aware she had no other symptoms other than quite a large lump.

My sister's friend was diagnosed last year, she could not feel a lump but noticed tethering indents on one breast. She had been feeling very run down as well but that may just be coincidence.

Both are doing very well. Good luck with your appointment Smile

12 years ago, I very rapidly lost about 8 kg of weight without changing my diet or lifestyle.

I wish you all the best and will think of you on Monday.

prokupatuskrakedatus thank you,
Have you had a breast related problem? Was it advanced ?

I had breast cancer a couple of years ago and had no symptoms apart from a lump - but please remember the vast majority of lumps are nothing to worry about.
Good luck next week.

My DGM, DM and me - we all had breast cancer - different types though.
So it was caught early - I went for regular check ups since I was 16.

And after being diagnosed I went for the drastic solution - I had a double mastectomy. No minimal invasiveness for me. My DC were both under 3 at the time.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with advanced BC while pregnant. She, too, had other symptoms besides "lumps". She and her DD are well 10 years on.

I appreciate you sharing these extremely difficult experiences here. Thank you so much. I think living as long as possible for our children come as the first priority so I fully understand your decision to have a double mastectomy.

Cratos - thank you for your kind words.

Actually - on a lighter note - before DC I was an A, after DC I was a D. So after the operation I felt much more like myself again.
And I've got better hair, too - different colour, though.

I worry that I may have given the faulty gene (or whatever it is) to my DD, so she will go for check ups - even if I have to drag her there.
