Missing exercise but riddled with neuralgia

In my youth I loved sport and I have to be honest, I miss it. I'm on every medication for neuralgia going and it's pretty much under control except on movement which exacerbates it.

I've had a lot of investigations and I have no underlying issue that could be aggravated by exercise so the only thing stopping me is my pain threshold.

Has anyone successfully broken the pain barrier and got back into sport? How did you do it?

I mainly want to get back cycling

I have CRPS, and am in constant pain from that. I also do triathlons, currently training for a marathon.

I won't lie and say that exercising takes the crps pain away as it doesn't. But the exercise pain is pain with a meaning, and having things to concentrate on helps to distract my brain from the crps and helps me manage.
