Babydrac has just had her first ever major vom aged 4!

Am hoping it was just the huge quantity of popcorn she consumed this pm

why boiled water? I'd just give her eau de tap

and only small sips at first- wait and see if it stays down

Good luck. I don't think I ever caught anyone's vomit in my hands until I became a mum. Hey ho.

If it's a one off I guess I can assume excessive popcorn consumption is the cause?!

If it's any consolation, CD, I think DD1 was about 4 before she first threw up, and now at 24 she reckons she has only had a serious vomiting thing about 6 times in her entire life (alcohol-related events excluded) so if you're lucky yours has the same cast-iron constitution she has.

(Couldn't comment though on whether baby Drac's is bug- or popcorn-related )

Well hopefully she hasn't got a bug, but if she has bear in mind that water may not stay down, it doesn't have the right salts (or something!), flat lemonade or even very weak juice, both in sips might be better. Try making ice cubes out of them for her to suck on. Hope she's ok.

thanks all!

Well no more vomiting yet so fingers crossed!

Jan I also have cast iron stomach (despite having been very sicky baby, something I suspect to do with the fact that i was fed on diluted carnation milk )

Oh no the joys of being a Mum Countess!
Hope she' snot up thru the night but agree with flat lemonade. Brilliant for that little bit of sugar after being sick.
I always dish out small amounts of light watery soups like chicken noodle and dry toast.

Hope all's well tomorrow.
