sorry if tmi

used to be all over the place. Then since dd (5 years ago) used to be 28 days on the dot in the afternoon could set your watch by it type. The last 3 months it's been 25 days. Can't be bothered going to GP as they're usually less than clued up on anything and blame a virus if and when they can...

Anybody had similar? Sign of menopause approaching? Or just 'one of those things' to annoy me?

I've been variable all my life. I'll have a spell of 22 day cycles for over a year, then 29 days for 6 months, then 28 days for a few years. So what you describe would just be normal, for me... I think anyone can vary sometimes.

I was planning on starting a similar thread today. Have always had a very regular 28 day cycle but over the last three months it has been a 21 day cycle. It's a complete pain!
Oh and you would think that as it was happening more frequently it would be lighter but oh no!

CrocodileKat... same here, defo not lighter. In fact (tmi alert)... very embarrassing moment in the office, been sitting down for a while doing my work, had to get up and well squeltching sounds accompanied by gushing/blobbing and nearly fresh towel spilled over cause it couldn't handle 'it'. Have male colleagues and he probably thought I just farted normally but that's bad enough . Why do 'we women' have to go through this? I've done my reproducing, I've had enough!

I was going to post something similar. I used to have long cycles, over 30 days, not terribly regular. After having DS2 I started to have regular 28 day cycles and was quite pleased but the last few months things have varied to between 21 and 25 days which is a pain. I had started to wonder about the menopause too, but I think (and hope) I'm too young for all of that.

might be a 30something irregular episode then It's just sooooo annoying, I now never leave the house without a pad in my bag. How sad is that!
