Implant to merina coil

I've had the implant for 5 years now. The first year was fine. The second year I've had terrible skin and loss of libido. But no periods (yay)
I spoke to my nurse and I've just had the merina fitted as she said its a smaller amount of hormone so it should lessen the effects, also at my periods should stay gone, fingers crossed.
I'm now reading (whilst in bed with cramps which I was told is normal) and now I'm freaking out.
Has anyone else gone from implant to coil? Ive seen people change due to bleeding but I'm worried that my side effects are minimal and similar to what the coil can do too. Have a I made a mistake?
