baby acne

(sob) Doctors have said dd has this, it almost entirely covers her face, we've been given antibiotic cream to clear it up.

Is there anything we can do to prevent it/natural stuff to get rid of it/will she be more prone to exzema/acne when older?

It seems to have spread down her chest a little too...

Hi Luna - my wee boy had really terrible acne at a few weeks old. It will clear up on its own and it will be as though she never had it. I believe that it is simply caused by hormones. We just kept his face nice and clean with plain boiled water and cotton wool... He has lovely skin now.

I know that it looks awful and you just want your little one to be perfect, but it will pass eventually

My es had this really badly, but it disappeared all by itself...am surprised your lil one got a cream for it? Or is it infected?

my 2 week old has red spots all round his mouth and chin where it is contact with my boob when feeding. is this acne too?
