Weeping C-Section

Has anyone experienced a clear yellowish fluid weeping from a c section wound?
it isn't cloudy like pus, and it doesn't hurt or feel hot so I dont think its infection, but perhaps it could be the start of one?

Im 3 weeks PP and it started two days ago. There is very little there but its enough to stick my pants to the wound. Not fun.

Any ideas?
My HV will be here tomorrow so I will run it by her, but until then....

I would seek medical advice asap via the GP. HV may well advise you to see the GP in any case.

Can you go to the GPs and get it dressed?

I wouldn't recommend you do what I did. I put a sanitary pad against mine and knickers on top as mine weeped like that. Looking back it was foolish.

Get it looked at.

In the mean time, cooled boiled water, cotton wool, dab clean and then toss.

You need to get it looked at and a swab should be done.
My cs scar got infected and it wasn't hot or angry looking and I felt fine, had to have a stronger antibiotic to get it cleared up.

Hi get it looked at. My c section wound wasn't infected but stupid student didn't stitch me up properly in lower muscle layer and it needed packing to help heal it. You should check the wound hasn't opened up.

It doesn't seem to be open but I do think I may have pulled a stitch slightly as it starting weeping after I popped out to Town to do a bit of shopping. I think in over did it as I was feeling a bit tender when I got home.
