Do they have it? DS1 is 2.5 - will he be invited for the catch-up now this immunisation has been added to the vaccination schedule?

I have asked my HV, and I think she said he'd get it, but she also said he'd be called for a 2y check when he was 2.3 and he wasn't, so who knows?!

hunker - it's a completely different vaccine for over 2's so I'm not sure that they will be offered anything.

Over 2's are seen to be at less risk than under 2's - unless they are in a 'high risk' group. In that case you can get the other vaccine anyway.
