I was always told it's the flu if you felt so bad that you couldn't be arsed to pick up a £50 note off the floor.

im a tough cookie. I was up and about 3 hours after both my emcs Im certainly not going to let this beat me lol. typing on mnet isnt strenuous, especially lying on a couch. Wonder if it could be virus though because theres no sneezing or cold symptoms. I dont know though, havent been ill for years

Sorry but it was.

Lying in bed resting and sleeping on and off all day, pick up phone, scroll through a couple of threads and post on one or two, then a few more painkillers and back to sleep.

All done without lifting my head from the pillow. And about five minutes worth of time.

You can do things with the flu, there are different severities of flu. We swab up to 5 patients a week who come in with flu like symptoms as part of being a spotter practice for flu activity. These are patients who get in to the surgery. I'm amazed at how we do pick up flu cases in these and it has certainly shown me that it is simply not true that you "can't do anything with the flu" my son had swine flu a few years ago and couldn't do a lot but could get up and do things on his computer.
There is a bit of swine flu around just now too.

OP you do sound flu like. Take it easy if you can.
