Hi,
I haven`t much time, but dd2 had glue ear and grommetts worked really well for her.
DS1 now 3 yrs and been waiting ages for today hearing test at 11.30. Most of the time his hearing is really awful-almost deaf to the point of signing to him. He is congested most of the time with runny nose recurrent tonsillitis and chesty coughs-typical glue ear child.Today of all days his hearing is better than ever ! I am so stressed because MOST of the time it is terrible and since the weekend it has been better than ever.I know his hearing will be awful again in a couple of days-so should i go or cancel as next time his hearing will be as bad as it usually is ????? This happened with my daughter and 2 years down the line she was told-oh your hearing is terrible. Helllllllloooooooo- i knew that all along!

Agree, take him and - if needs be - make a big fuss about how worried you are most of teh time etc, perhaps they will allow you a retest another day, if they book it htem and there then you may get an apointment sooner than if you just cancle.

Hi both-thanks i think your right. I may as well go and just tell them and hopefully they will agree to a retest in a few weeks.
