He was 2 in March

I remember at the time umming and arring over whether to give him the MMR or push for singles.

And for some reason neither happened

How important is it that he has the jabs?
Is the MMR still thought to be dangerous?
Are single vacines better? If so, how do you go about arranging them?
Is he too old for them now - or is it the older the better?
Have i put his health in danger by forgetting about them?

Any advice greatfully recieved!

dd was about 3 or 4 when she had it because we put it off while she was having genetic testing

no-one looked concerned

Def not too old - We hummed and hawed, and delayed, and DD finally had her 1st MMR at 3.5-ish, when she was called for her 'pre-school booster', and then had the pre school booster about a year later when DS had his 1st MMR.

you have not dammaged his health by not having them. His health could be potentially dammaged if he was to contract any of the three childhood illnesses. The efficiency of singles is slightly higher but only by a few percent IIRC. If you do a search jimjams has talked about giving cod liver oil and a vitamin (A) suppt before and after immunisation to reduce health risks associated with it.

It's strange that your gp or HV hasn't chased you up on it. I would definitely go for it.
