I thought perhaps a sort of migraine, without the headache, as I get visual aura migraines without the pain.
Saw the GP and he prescribed some migraine tabs, but they haven't done anything, so he suspects it's 'some sort of virus'.
It's lasted 2 full days now and makes anything above the noise of a whisper extremely uncomfortable as the noise rattles around my skull and makes me feel sick/disorientated.
Driving/being outside/watching TV/listening to music/talking above a whisper with my kids is all out.
And I can't even contemplate work, with a class full of kids, when I can't even speak at a normal volume without giving myself a headache.
(Feeling sorry for myself)
