How soon can I ttc after LLETZ ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Had LLETZ 6 weeks ago, got the all clear. Due to go back to hospital October for another smear but really want to start ttc September time.
Do I have to wait for another clear smear before I can ttc?
Do I have to leave it a certain length of time after LLETZ before ttc?
I can't get hold of anyone at the hospital and to be honest, feel a bit like they don't really want to know now I've had the treatment.
Tia.

Would this be better in conception?

I'm not sure if there is a certain amount of time you should wait after having a LLETZ done to ttc but I personally wouldn't start trying until after you have your next smear test result to be on the safe side :)

Before I had my Conebiopsy 30 years ago, I was told not to get pregnant while I had these abnormal cells as it could make them develope much faster. Only at the check up after the op did they say I could now.

The cervix will need time to heal after the treatment. Have you tried phone, email, writing to the clinic to ask them for advice on how long to wait? If you've tried these and they haven't come back to you then I suggest seeing your GP and getting them to cntact the colposcopist and/or contacting PALS (or equivalent).
There is some info on here but it doesn't cover how long wait. This is probably because so much depends on what your treatment showed, what the abnormality was and how you are healing.
It may be worth waiting until your appointment in Oct as they will be able to tell you how your cervix has healed.

I was told after the first check up and was about 6 weeks after the op.
But I was told I would need a stitch in the Cervix when pregnant to be taken out before birth.
I do think they took a large chunk of my Cervix away though, and was 30 years ago performed with a scalpel. It is not such an invasive procedure now with the LLETZ.
