Cortisone injections and breastfeeding?

I have terrible tendonitis in my thumb and there is the possibility that I will be offered a cortisone injection.

I am currently breastfeeding my 13 week old son and don't want to stop.

Is the injection safe for him?

The drug information pharmacist at the BfN says it's fine!
