i think so...do you think more or less? Cant remember. I am astounded that dd (2.2) gets through 6 at nursery when she goes. I always put in a few 'extras' never thinking they'd change her that often. Better than not enough I guess...

Do you mean 5 poos a day? If so, that was normal for my ds until he was about 18 months - since then it seems to have slowly reduced in number but at just 2 it is still normal for him to do 3 poos a day. Roll on potty training....
I can't remember how often I used to change for just a wet nappy - probably not very often because of the number of poos!

Between 3 and 6 poos a day here as well. A red face, a slight lifting of the bottom and out it comes. However if they are horrid, or mucusy or seem to cause great angst then it could be an intolerance of something in the diet. Number alone is nothing to worry about though.

same with ds...can range from 2 a day to sometimes 5 or 6 ...but i think afew of them are the same poo that he, erm, saves for later

Its deffo last baby as I never minded nappies at all with hte others ...14 months till potty training

I usually get about 3 poo-y ones a day codswallop and my son is 2 and a half! Today was a record breaking 6!!! And yes, he probably should be potty trained at this age but being a typical boy he's too lazy and shows no interest whatsoever.

Could he be teething ? DD (almost 16mo) usually does 1 to 2 poos a day (I tend to use about 5/6 nappies a day), unless she has teeth coming in which case they stink to high heaven, are a bizarre colour and are VERY frequent.

My ds takes probiotics and his poos just smell of whatever he has eaten. He also has no dairy because he is allergic. I wonder if dairy makes poos smell?

Wsm in that case he has been teething for over a month.!!! Yes they smell that way tho. I reemember the others getting down to one a day at his age.. dont I???

ds nearly 1, and anything from 1 pooh to 4 or 5 per day. Smell like his food usually, but sometimes just honk for no reason. Also suddenly gets really sore bum after one poohy nappy, and then after the next it is fine. So, sorry no, help, but not unusual I don't think. I think 4 nappies in 24 hours is a really good day for us, and a bad day is 6 or even 7....

my ds would usually use 2 nappies in 24 hours, drank little and pooed 1st thing in the morning, both dd's got through many more than that!
They're all different with their habbits.
