help im hearing things....

its seriously starting to freak me out, everythig that i do i can hear my name being shouted, just a few examples
last night i was drying my hair and everytime i switched the hair dryer on i could hear someone shouting of me, i walked out of the gate and i know it was just a squeek off the hinge but it sounded like my name, other day i ran down the stairs and i could hear someone shouting my name, this is driving me insane im sure im going nuts ...

strangley enough, I always think I hear my name being called when I'm dying my hair too.

its honestly got my head done in dp was on nightshift last night and i was seriously freaked out it was every time the hairdryer went on i could hear my mane as clear as a bell!! its happening all the time thou!!

I'm forever turning it off and shouting "what do you want...I'm trying to dry my hair" down the stairs only to discover no-one has called me.

Don't worry, it must just be the the noise so close to your(our) ears that does it.
