Constant snotty noses (me and 2dds) since Sept - any homeopathic/alternative advice?

Since I went back to work in Sept (following mat leave) me and my 2 dds have had constant colds etc. I'm beginning to feel like a paranoid mummy cos I've been to the dr's 3 times in a month (chicken pox, chesty cough, ear infection - all dd1), and was thinking i'd need to take dd2 yesterday (high temp, wheezy throat) but she seems much better today. I take a daily multivit but nothing else. Is there anything I can dose me/all of us with to try to boost our currently crappy immunity?

Dds are 3yo and 10 mo BTW.

DD and I were the same last year. It was her first year full time at nursery, and she seemed to catch every germ around and pass it on to me. It's started again this fall. We went to the doctor yesterday, and he said it was completely normal for this age. In fact, he said it would probably go on until dd was 5 or 6 and her immunity was built up to a point where she could resist things. In the meantime, he advised lots of liquids, eating well, lots of sleep and doses of vitamin C.

Not much consolation, but I think this is how it is for many of us for a few years.

echinacea is fantastic for boosting the immune system.
Plantago is fantastic for runny nose/sore throat/ear infection.
Ivy-Thyme is fantastic for chest infection/cough/any ling problems.

I've used all of these on my two toddlers from about 6 months old(when they moved on to bottles). we use Bioforce ones which come in drops and are easy to give to children as relativly tasteless in small doses.

you need to get a good brand to be really effective, such as Bioforce, solgar, quest, higher Nature (I dont think holland barrett own-brand are worth getting). I own a health shop if you need any more advice

I'd offer the same advice as previous posters but also try cutting back on dairy produce as it is mucus forming

Thanks for advice - will try Holland and B later.

Forgot about dairy being mucus forming - they have loads of it so that might be worth looking at.
