Word help needed - spell checking

I have copy & pasted from somewhere and the words are not being spell checked as they are in some way 'protected' from the spell checker - can this be removed?

Where did you copy from?

If you go to 'tools' you can protect document, try unchecking that, not sure if that will work for your copied words though

I copied the question from the OU text book and then I am answering it - but it seems to have attached itself to the answer

I suppose I could put them in two separate files
