Ripping vinyl to the pc, is there an easy way?

cos dh bought this ADS instand music thing, which is meant to be able to allow you to transfer vinyl to pc easily.

but we cant get the bloomin thing working.

tbh i think it was a waste of time. and money.

i admit defeat/

DH got one of these for his birthday last December.

If he ever actually gets it out of its box, I'll let you know if it works.....

you can do it but thats my partners domain who is currently working away can you google the product you have and see if you can find step by step guide

right nowi feel like getting one of those USB decks.

and selling the pricey technics we have freeing up space.

my dp has technics he has leads that go into comp and a prog that records from the decks he does his own recordings think he uses prog called audition

not sure the ins and outs as thats his thing but he does record his mixes onto comp so would be able to just record vinyl alone also

he has leads going from amp into speaker connection at back and logs onto audition prog and sets up the recording

bubbla, can you ask him lead i need and what programme (preferably free tbh), as just want all this vinyl on the pc so we can it and sell the decks.

we have two decks and stanton mixer.

i will ask as we have 2 decks and a mixer and amp and he will be doing the same to sell decks and have vinyl on comp

we got our prog from a site called bitsoup and it was free its hard to get on site but it will eventually let you on and the you need u torrent tracker to be able to download the stuff

will ask what the lead and set up is

phono lead and need adapter to turn phono end into head phone socket 3.5 jack adapter goes into line in on sound card on comp

phono lead goes into back of amp or mixer on record out then into comp sound card

adobe audition you can get free trial so can transfer stuff on the free trial but only get x amount of days so dont get it until all set up to record dp got lead and adapter from local electrical store maplin they do it all in there

tried to write that as he was talking so hope it makes sense his away with work so thought id ask him

adobe audition you will need to read up on settings as he can remember but said it was easy enough
