can anyone help me with an error on my wii?

screen has gone black and it just says to remove disc, turn off power and consult manual(no idea where it is and too lazy to turn the house up side down looking for it). all we did was put in a game, not a new one, has worked before.

any help appreciated, save me having to tidy to find manual!!!

go to nintendo.com and download a pdf version of the manual
