How is your internet service provider?

We are coming to the end ouf our contract with Tiscali.
We have a 8 MB connection.
We are looking for the best deal around have you got and ideas please?

dont go with talktalk. we r with them, they were ok at 1st but after a couple of months the speed dropped. its sposed 2 b 8mb but some days we barely get 1mb

They may not all be available to you. Go to samknows and it will tell you your exchange and what companies are set up there (LLU)

Then you can get people to say which is the best

I'm with BEunlimited and I think they are great, but they are not in every exchange yet.

We are with sky and they are great, fantastic customer service which after last provider is all I really wanted - £17.99 because we live in the middle of nowhere - where we used to live £7.50pm for 8mb.

I have just switched to O2 who are doing fab deal ATM. £7.50 for 8Meg if you have an O2 phone. They do up to 20Meg. A little bit more expensive if you don't have O2.

They also have a 50 day money back guarantee so nothing to loose.

They are powered by BEUnlimited so you need to check if they are in your exchange.

we have been with plusnet for ages - have no complaints - reasonably priced, reasonable service and reasonable help service.

I know lots of others who have also been with them for ages (many of them IT people) and they are all happy with it.

If you recommend people you get a discount - but the 3 people who have taken up my recommendation have each forgotten to credit us so we never did get the discount !
