Movies on itunes?

I'm trying to decide whether to buy an ipod nano 8gb or the ipod classic 80gb. I was thinking that an 8gb would be fine for all my music but then noticed on Amazon it said that they play films, tv shows, etc.

So I was thinking that would be good and I would probably need the extra gb. I went to the itunes website to see how much movies are to download and I can't find any? I can find TV shows, audio books, Pixar short movies but not movies. Are they on itunes? If not where do I get them from that I can EASILY put on an ipod.

In the library section on itunes there is a folder for movies so it seems they should be somewhere...

8gb ipod's are so cute, dd has one and she (you will not believe this but, I swear this is true) has down loaded poirot dvd's on to it and watches them on the way to school.

Perhaps I found the wrong software, but my experience is that DVD-ipod conversion is impossibly slow and consumes hugh amounts of disk space (we have an 80GB ipod).

1h30m of movie in decent format for the ipod should take up around 400mb.. this is a rought guide but I have loads of ripped movies for my iPod Touch and this is the average that I get from the software I use.

Also a 1h30m movie DVD should take around 45m to 1h to rip..
