Anyone having facebook problems?

I can get into it OK, can read stuff, can see my profile and get other people's updates.

CAN'T update own status, or reply to message threads but CAN do messages in a totally new thread.

This all comes after a morning of hell on the PC in which I had to do a System Restore and replace my virus-checker. Coincidence?

mine's fine - updated my status several times (and it was all lies LOL - ie the housework still isn't done, and I'm not being superior mother ).

I thought it might be my over-enthusiastic new firewall, but I risked it with it switched off for a minute and still had the same problems.

Have you also rechecked your internet privacy settings UQD
We had to play with firewall and Explorer/Firefox before we could get Facebook running properly at home

I've seen a suggestion on the facebook help site to run the latest edition of Firefox (2.0) - downloaded and installed that and it seems OK now. Thanks!

A side-effect of having Firefox 2.0 is that I now get dotty red lines under my typos! This is helpful/annoying (delete as applicable...
